JORDAN

Welcome to another adventure readers! or in Arabic   مرحبا بكم في آخر القراء مغامره!

It's Jaione.

We have just came from Jordan, an Asian country located in the middle East. For a long time we haven't been able to travel due to our studies. But we are here to bring another crazy adventure to you.

When I was Young I used to dream of being Indiana Jones one day. I aspired to be a renowned archaeologist, experience different adventures discovering unusual objects or important tombs. So Lea and I we decided to go to Jordan this time.

We had the opportunity to walk around Petra's gorg looking for the treasure. Also, we floated in the dead sea like the tradition promises (and the laws of the physics), we were gobsmacked with the colors of the fishes in the brightness water  of Aqaba gulf. They showed us, like Moises, the promised ground of the top of Nebo hill. This doesn't mean that we have become Indiana Jones, I'm conscious, but we have to say that Jordan offered us the possibility of trying it.

Anyway, I'm coming early. Firstly, we got the train in Pamplona to go to Barcelona ( go to another city is a good way to save money). Then, from Barcelona we took the plane to go to Aman.( we always take the plane with same Airlines, you can watch it in our article called tips. Besides, you could find another useful tips). The trip was exhausting, it lasted 12 hours but we took the flight at night, so we could see Jordan whenever we arrived . We arrived  at 3 o'clock exhausted but the desire of having a nap didn't control us.We had only three days to watch as much as possible, and we were going to take advantage of it.

The day that we arrived, we went to Petra's gorg. The feeling was unexplicable. We had to walk around 1,5 km to arrive to the hidden city called Petra. Firstly, we walked around the Siq, we could appreciate the way of the light crashing into the red rocks, which left a reddish air that transport you to another world. There was silence but at the same time you could ear the footstep of the horses that they progressed but you are not able to see it. They resound with their echo the gorg. When they crossed, they raised dust. This made the air even  more intense. Before entering, we could see ruins, aquifers sculpted in the Cliff. There are rest of an entrance too , an arch and underground rooms that they said that they were used by guardians to defend the entrance of the city.

The second day, we went to the dead sea. We had the strange feeling that we couldn't move, it was odd but at the same time very funny. We couldn't stop laughing. In the afternoon, we climbed the Nebo hill. It has 817 meters and we could see the dead sea from up there. In a clear day , you can see Jerusalem, where Moises saw the promised ground. There, we had the opportunity to watch the Moises basilica.

The third day, we spent all day at Aqaba gulf. We could appreciate the brightness water and the food. Lea and I love go to different countries and learn about their culture and food. Although some could think that Morocco and Jordan have similar food, but they are wrong. They are completely different. We ate a dish called tabbouleh. Tabbouleh is a vegetarian salad made of mostly finely chopped parsley with tomatoes, mint, onion, bulgur or couscous and olive oil, salt and lemon juice. It was amazing. Then we ate another dish called baklava. Baklava is a sweet dessert made of layers of filo with chopped nuts. As tabbouleh, this was amazing too.
